A Critical Opportunity to Have Your Say!
Around the province, the Ministry of Forests is replacing forest stewardship plans with much-touted "Forest Landscape Plans - or FLPs." These plans will lock in land-use decisions for given areas for the next decade. It is therefore critical for individuals and communities to push back against the industry-driven narratives the Ministry is advancing. Below are three PDFs specific to the Kootenay Lake FLP response, but they can be used as templates for communities responding to FLPs anywhere in BC. Adapt this information in any way that helps your community.
This first PDF helps people respond to superficial surveys asking for input on FLPs.
